The Mid Type is a bespoke jewellery atelier specialising in handmade, hand-forged pieces crafted one at a time. Born from a passion for traditional metalwork and contemporary design, the studio creates signet rings, pendants, and wearable art using time-honoured casting techniques in the Lenrose and Ace David tradition.

Each piece begins as a drawing — a sketch in black pen — before being cast in gold, silver, bronze, or mixed metals and finished entirely by hand. No two pieces are identical, and every mark of the making is left visible: a record of fire, hammer, and patience.

The atelier serves individuals who seek something truly their own — those commissioning a first signet, marking a milestone, or simply drawn to the texture of a thing made by human hands.
